Computer Room Design

i have a project at school where you create a interior design for a room then figure out finances, blueprints, labor, etc. i was wondering if i could do some kind of graphic design of the room on the computer? pleez help

I’ve decided I want to design my dream house. I think the only way I can do it is to actually draw everything out (blueprints, exteriors, etc.). I have photoshop. Any good tips for completely designing a house from the ground up? Or do I just open up a large drawing surface and draw it all room by room? Thanks.
