Computer Room Design

My friend’s daughter is into computer drawings, building/room designs, computer graphic stuff. Is there a software out there that I can get (it’s a christmas present)…something with a reasonable price will be nice. I’ll appreciate all suggestions.

Oh yeah, she has all the Sims out there and not satisfied with them since they don’t let her design as much as she wants to

Is there any software that is absolutely free, with no obligations or watermarks, etc. out there for creating and printing my own business cards? I want to download a program that will let me put my own picture and my own writing on it, then print at home? I keep downloading software that says absolutely free then after I go through the process of designing my card I get a message saying that my free-trial offer only allows me to print up with a watermark. I have to purchase to get one without watermark.

I guess what I am looking for is something along the lines of CAD software. I would like to make a room of a house on a program that I can design how I would like it. I am looking for something free and easy to use. I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!

We are moving into a new place soon, and decorating it can be a hassle if you don’t know where to start. I’m looking for some type of program where I can take pictures of my house, and put them in the software which can interface the room and objects (chairs, tables, pictures, rugs, etc). It could give me a 2-D or 3-D image of how the rooms were look if they were decorated. With so many types of software out there, I really don’t know if there is anything similar to what I want to do. I am running Windows Vista so hopefully any programs you guys give me, would work. I know WPF format is new to vista, so anything that ran off of that would be awesome too. If you know of anything that can come close to what I want to do, any information would be fantastic. Thanks.

I am intending to build a home for my family and need to do my own designing

i have an older version of an Expert Software application, Home Design 3D. it does what i need it to to get me by, but for wiring i am left to dry. is there another program thats more advanced that displays wiring such as electrical, Cat-5, phone cables, etc? location, price (best is free/trial), type of software please
cant find online tried it. it brings up wiring you can buy

I just got the Vista Home edition. Is there some program on it that I could design and print my own Post Cards? The size I bought is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I dont seem to be able to find a postcard program in works at all. Or is there some kind of free software that I could download.

What are some good interior and landscape design software for download for free websites? They don’t have to be for download, on the website is okay too. I know www.scenecaster.com
I remember one from school in design and technology, there was a website of a paint company that allowed you do design a room on the internet for free, i can’t remember what it was.

We want to re-design the front of our home (new porch, different paint colors, etc.). Is there any sort of software program that would allow us to use an actual digital photo of the front of our home and then alter the color scheme accordingly? If not, any suggestions as to a FREE user-friendly program that is available for download? Thanks.
